Why should I fit an EP Brake Lever Protector Kit?

Great for race days or road journeys, Evotech’s Brake Lever Protector Kit for the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT is intended to prevent accidental application of the brakes. In fact, brake lever guards are often a requirement for many race tracks or track days. EP Brake Protector Kits come with the additional benefit of an innovative mounting system incorporating bike-specific Bar End Weights. EP’s larger Road option is fabricated from stainless steel and is heavier than KTM’s OE handlebar weights, proven to reduce high frequency vibrations that can impact a rider’s hands.  

 

Note: To fit Evotech Bar End Weights to the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT, the OE handguards must be removed.

Note: When fitting Evotech Bar End Weights and Evotech Brake Lever Protector Kits, it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the motorcycle’s throttle action (correct free-play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle, etc) is not impaired in any way. EP Bar End Weights and EP Brake Lever Protector Kits are designed to be used only with the OE throttle tube and handlebar grip.
