What do EP Bar End Weights (Touring) do?

When fitted to the handlebar ends of the Yamaha MT-09 SP, EP Bar End Weights (Touring) will add weight to reduce unwanted high-frequency vibrations. Crafted from stainless steel, with EP’s durable black powder-coating, EP’s bar ends are heavier than Yamaha’s OE parts. The EP Bar End Weights also feature a bike-specific fitting design which allows a quick and easy but secure fitting to the motorcycle’s handlebars.  Evotech Performance’s Touring weight is the larger of the two produced, ideal for longer rides.

 

Note: When fitting EP Bar End Weights, it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the motorcycle’s throttle action (correct free-play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle, etc) is not impaired in any way. EP Bar End Weights are designed to be used only with the OE throttle tube and handlebar grip.
